Create charitable spending budgets, identify grant-funding opportunities, and gain visibility for your mission outreach to key stakeholders within your field of work. Conduct due diligence in the grantmakng development process, prepare RFP’s, monitor development and programmatic activities and present recommendations on targeted nonprofit programs in accordance with donor’s mission.
Deliver specialized foundation management services and planned giving administration, including coordination of meetings, grant making activities and compliance matters for private foundations; set-up and processing of planned gifts; and coordination and analysis of tax and financial planning. Establish and manage grantmaking procedures and compliance standards, grantee communications, performance monitoring, record keeping, financial management, charitable spending projections, growth and development planning.
Plan and facilitate board meetings, board communication, create and maintain foundation policies and records, identify opportunities for board members to network with other funders, present relevant research, and initiate co-funding, or capacity-building opportunities within the sector.
Select and/or act as a liaison between donors, outsourced managers and investment advisors that ensures mission-related objectives and operations requirements are met, coordinating for proper due diligence, tax and legal compliance, and sound asset management strategies are implemented. Provide counsel on fiduciary investment and administration, business development, asset allocation and investment policy development, performance measurement, private investment deal flow and manager research in line with client’s objectives.
